Summer Skills Program

Summer Skills at Harborlight

Worried about your student's academic preparedness?

Summer Skills program offers language and literacy development for students entering Kindergarten, 1st - 3rd grades using Montessori hands-on learning materials.

There are two groups: Entering Kindergarten Only & Entering Grades 1-3.

Language and literacy assessments inform learning plans that are tailored to each student's individual needs. Students participate in small-group lessons, individual workstation activities, and one-to-one tutorials. Students benefit from additional time on learning and high frequency practice to reinforce new concepts.

We are excited to offer this program through our Academic Skills Center led by experienced Montessori teachers with expertise in early Language and Literacy development.

Students have the option of registering for the academic program only (8:30-3:00) or a full-day combination program that includes participation in afternoon activities (7:30-5:30).
