Board of Trustees

The relationship between a Board of Trustees and an independent school is vital. The Board supports the Harborlight Montessori mission and acts strategically to protect the long-term best interests of the school and its students.

John Cusolito, President (P '18)
John was Vice President of Corporate Public Relations at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he worked for nearly 40 years.  John and Doreen are parents to Matthew ’18 and reside in Wenham.  He was co-chair of the Harborlight Fund and has participated in various committees and activities at Harborlight over the years.  John is a communications consultant to the Brotherhood of Hope, a volunteer at Acord Food Pantry in Hamilton and the Meals-on-Wheels program in Hamilton and Wenham.  He is past co-chair of the Hamilton Wenham Edfund and a current member of the Hamilton Wenham Recreation Board.

Kevin Carr (P '31, '33), Treasurer

Eileen Caruso, Clerk (P '30)

Tachou Dubuisson Brown, Trustee (P '25, '27)

Douglas Bowker, Trustee
Doug is a full-time freelance 3D Animator, with a specialty in technical and architectural visualization. He has a BA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. His son Colin attended Harborlight Montessori starting in Children's House (at the age of three) and continued on through the sixth grade of Upper Elementary, giving him a solid foundation of intellectual curiosity that will last a lifetime. Seeing the way each student's needs were not just met, but often anticipated in advance by his son's teachers has made Doug a dedicated advocate of Harborlight and the Montessori Method.
