Cultural Festival

On April 29th, 2023, we will be hosting our 5th Annual Cultural Fair at Harborlight!  It will be from 9-12 on our campus and is open to our community and the public.  Our Cultural Fair gives us the opportunity to cultivate cultural awareness and world peace and I am thrilled that we are planning our 5th fair after a few years break from COVID.

For the fair, teachers and parents transform our classrooms to a particular country with activities, decorations, food, costumes, and a souvenir for the children to take home.  Each visitor will have a passport to be stamped and we have flags hanging at each door to represent the country.  It is a wonderful community building event!  Along with the classrooms to visit, there will be an assembly at the end of the event (TBD) and a bake sale.

We are looking for volunteers to run “houses” (the countries represented in the classrooms), help with set up and clean up, donations for the bake sale, etc.  If you are interested in running a house, please contact Elisa PItkin at epitkin@harborlight.net
